Yes, you can install the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite item # RED44FR in your 2022 Ford Ranger. The 2022 Ranger did not come with a port to plug into. However, the universal wiring harness that is included with the Tow-Pro will allow you to splice into your Ranger's wiring harness to complete your installation.

This is a proportional brake controller that will engage your trailer's brakes when your Ranger decelerates. It activates immediately and is not time delayed. The Tow-Pro Elite has a unique installation method that allows you to mount the main control unit out of sight behind your dash. The only part visible is the control knob. This means no bulky brake controller hanging down by your knee in your brand new truck.
