Features to know about

Stay Level and Confident Under Heavy Loads: 6,000-lb Rear Suspension Support

When the weight piles on, the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System keeps your ride level and steady. With a 6,000-lb capacity, these hollow rubber springs sit above the rear axle to help stabilize and level your vehicle when towing or hauling heavy gear. They work with your factory suspension to reduce sag and keep steering, traction, and braking in check so your truck feels planted and controlled even with serious weight on board.

Smooth Out Rough Roads: Rubber Springs That Absorb Shock

Rough pavement, potholes, or washboard roads can beat up your suspension. Timbren’s rubber springs act as shock absorbers, taking the brunt of bumps and jolts so your ride stays smoother and your factory components last longer. The elastic rubber construction cushions light loads while still firming up as more weight is added, keeping comfort and stability in balance no matter what you’re carrying.

Stay Steady in Crosswinds and Turns: Independent Spring Action

Sharp turns or uneven loads can make one side of your truck dip or sway. Each Timbren spring works independently to support its side of the vehicle, cutting down body roll and keeping things level when you swerve, corner, or haul off-center loads. The improved stability also helps reduce trailer sway by keeping movement from transferring between truck and trailer.

Worked better than expected..

by:

Easy install, about one hour with minimal mechanical ability.

by:

Simple + Easy to Install

by:

Super!

by:

Does exactly what it’s designed to do! Have had no issues at all.

by:

So far everything is working. Just as I though. The only complaint I have is the wait time that it took (12) days from the order date to when I receive the item.

by:

These do exactly what they were designed to do. I have a heavy sprayer on my truck for about 3 months in the spring to spray trees. My goal was to reduce load on the trucks springs.

by:

Shipping was fast, product looks to be well made.

by:

Timbren, very high quality product. And the service from E-Trailer is perfect.

by:

Haven't put them through their paces yet so I can't speak to performance yet. Ordering was pretty simple, installation was amazingly easy. More than likely will be purchasing more products in the near future. So far pretty satisfied with the process.

by:

I've had them for about a year now. I use my 20 ranger as a tow rig and just an overall work truck and these have been one of the best decisions. I used to have them on my 2500 and never noticed any difference but on the ranger it's a night and day. Will run again on any other truck I have in the future

by:

No issues with product. Installing on my 2021 Ford Ranger was a challenge as both bolts holding the factory rubber supports broke off in the frame. This required me to drill out both holes and use same size hex head bolt screws to install.

by:

I've had these installed for a year now and they have worked flawlessly. The ride whether fully loaded or empty has been superb. I've been on some seriously rough roads while loaded and frankly would have been concerned if I'd have had air bags instead of these. Great product!

by:

Great product I put them on all my vehicles Ford trucks.

by:

I ordered these as my camper, has a heavy generator mounted on front of the camper and it was causing my stock 2021 Ford Ranger 4x4 to sag in the rear and also make my rig not safe going down the road. Once installed, it brought my truck almost to a perfect level state with camper attached. I will tell you that the installer (local shop) told me they had to do some slight trimming/mod to make them fit in place. They charged me $100 to install, which I felt was fair, likely 1 hr of their time. I am happy about this product and glad I ordered them, versus something else. 99% of the time, I'm not hauling anything and they don't adversely affect my trucks performance, nor require any maintenance.

by:

I have these installed on my 2019 Ford Ranger. I use my truck to tow a ~3500lb travel trailer, previous to install my rear end felt very wallowy and moved around quite a bit in the wind/passing. Now with the Timbrens installed, the truck sits level with the trailer hooked up and the truck feels a lot more stable while towing. I'd recomend this for any Ranger owner who tows often! My only complaint is that you can feel them on the big bumps when the truck is unloaded....But the benifts out weigh the Downsides here.

by:

Look good will install before fishing s eason

by:

Added the additional suspension to keep the front end of my truck lower when towing. They did exactly what they are supposed to do!

by:

Second pair of these I purchased (2 different pickups), I would highly recommend these. Relatively easy to install and works as .

by:

The pro: The longer, heavier bump stops worked great when hauling my mustang home from Chicago. The truck stayed level and handled great.
The con: I had to remove the bump stops for everyday use. They limited my suspension travel causing a stiffer ride.

I only install them when I tow or haul a heavy load. They limit my suspension travel in the rear and give me a stiffer ride with no load. They work great with a heavy load present.

by:

I am so glad I bought these for my truck. I was able to install them myself using a jack and jackstands. The ride is bit rougher now; but the suspension is totally awesome compared to before. I am able to haul a bit more weight when needed.

The Timbren suspension still working great. Although not intentional, a couple of months ago, I found myself in a situation where I had to pull a trailer and load that was about 9k lbs. or about 1500 overweight. I was able to pull it just fine and its all thanks to the Timbren suspension upgrade. If it had just been stock, I wouldnt have been able to do it.

by:

Great products happy with all my purchases from etrailer

After having the Timbren system for a year as of this review,
I have switched back and forth between oem and Timbren I feel they are a quality product that address my concerns with the oem Ranger suspension design. That being said they both contact the spring with my 3000lb trailer hooked to my Ranger
I do feel they will far outlive the oem , which addresses one of my concerns with the oem units. I don't worry about a failure with the Timbren.
They are easy to install and fit properly, I switch them out for towing now. They are too stiff without a trailer for me, but easy to swap which is a benefit to the product. My truck does feel more stable with the Timbren installed while towing, it sits More level

  • Will the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit Fit My 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor?
Hello Devon, Yes, the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS29VR will fit your 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor. I see that there are air bag kits available for the 2024 Ford Ranger, but unfortunately none of them fit the Raptor model. We do have the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TFRRGR. The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TFRRGR that fits your 2020 Ford Ranger are a really good option for suspension enhancement on your truck, and are exactly what I would use if it was my Ranger. These will be something you can put on your Ranger to improves its traction and handling when you are towing (or have a load in the bed), but it won't affect how your truck drives on a day-to-day basis. The reason for that is there will be about a 1" gap after the installation so you'd...
