Comparing etrailer & Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receivers for 2022 Chevy Equinox

Question:

Can you tell me what the difference, if any, there is of the Draw-tite and etrailer hitches for a 2022 chevy equinox? i do not have the diesel model. thanks!

There is very little actual difference between the two trailer hitch receivers that fit your 2022 Chevy Equinox (non-diesel model), which are the following part numbers:

- Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76419

- etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e59ZR

The biggest difference is actually in the installation, with the Draw-Tite not requiring you to enlarge the access holes in the frame rail to get the hardware through to install, an extra step the Curt hitch requires. Otherwise, the two both have have concealed crosstubes, which is a nice look for your Equinox, and have the same 4,500 lb towing and 675 lb tongue weight capacity.

They are similar enough that if it were me, I'd just go with the one that has the better price.
