Question:
Im installing an OEM trailer hitch on my 2023 Chevy Equinox LS with 4cyl. engine and I need the wiring harness to do the complete installation. I want to use the OEM hitch assembly as it is mounted higher than aftermarket hitches. I owned a 2022 Equinox and installed an aftermarket hitch on it, but it sat so low to the ground, it would rub going over speed bumps in my sub. I need a wiring harness 4-pin that will allow me to use an OEM hitch. Can you help me?

The only wiring harnesses we have for the 2023 Chevy Equinox are the Tekonsha item # TK67KR and the Curt item # C94FR. This install in an identical way behind the rear bumper. I do not have anyway of knowing the specifications on the OEM hitch you're getting or the installation process. These harnesses are designed as OEM replacements which means they should install the same as the factory ones. I have linked both sets of instructions and two installation videos we did so you can look at them and see if there will be any compatibility issues.
Out of those two harnesses, I recommend the Curt item # C94FR because of it's proven reliability.

Thanks, Jerred. The OEM hitch came with the OEM harness, so there is no need to purchase anything else. I didn’t know the wiring harness came with the hitch as there was no mention of it in the description.
