You will need 5 main parts to flat tow your 2022 Ford F-150. Those parts being a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, tow bar wiring and a supplemental braking system. There may be some additional parts needed, but those are the essentials. I have listed an option for each of those below, that fits your 2022 Ford F-150.
Base Plate Kit: Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM38VR
Tow Bar: Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-676 (this tow bar includes the safety cables)
Tow Bar Wiring: Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154
You will also need a Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25 and the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Motorhomes # RM-156-75 (if your motorhome does not already have a charge line).
Supplemental Braking System: Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251
You will also need the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400.
Additionally, you will likely need a high-low adapter to keep your tow set-up within 3" of level. I have included a help article that goes over how to determine this. I have also included our selection of high-low adapters, so you can select the correct one if one is needed.
You will also want to consult the owners manual for your F-150 to ensure you are doing everything that is recommended/required for flat towing your truck.
