Does the factory hitch need to be removed when installing the c15307 hitch? 2020 chevy silverado 1500 with factory hitch.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15307 is installed with the factory receiver in place. This receiver will actually bolt to your factory receiver so it is required to leave the factory receiver installed to use the Curt receiver.
