Recommended Hitch for a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Question:

I have a 2023 Chevy Silverado and it didn't come with a hitch. I see you have a few options and some seem alot higher than this truck can handle. Which is the best one for towing a small trailer?

The best hitch for your 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 is the etrailer Hitch item # e79AR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Silverado with included hardware. It is made specifically for the Silverado 1500's that do not come from the factory with a hitch.

I really like this hitch because it tucks up beneath the bed of your truck and the receiver sits right below your rear bumper. This really helps with ground clearance.

This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It has a 6,000 lbs towing capacity and a 600 lbs maximum tongue weight. This capacity can be increased to 10,000 lbs and 1,000 lbs when used with a weight distribution system.
