Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bag Kit with Easy Mount Compressor and Wireless Control. Now, if you're looking to keep your truck level, stable, and comfortable while you're towing or hauling, this Firestone Airide Ride-Rite Kit is gonna be a great option for you to consider. The air springs are custom fit with the vehicle-specific brackets for your vehicle. These brackets are going to bolt right into the factory mounting points on your truck, so what that means for you is no guesswork and no major modifications.
Speaking of fitments, this kit is designed for your 2019 and newer Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500s, both the two-wheel and four-wheel drive editions, and then your 2022 Silverado and Sierra 1500 LTD and Limited, again, the two-wheel and four-wheel drive model. Now, this system gives you up to 5,000 pounds of additional load leveling support. That means this is gonna help your rear suspension stay level under those heavy loads.
It's gonna help improve handling, braking, and overall stability. Now, it is important to note that these air bags don't actually increase your truck's maximum payload, so you will still have to stay within the manufacturer's recommended weight limits. But this kit will make hauling and towing safer for you, more controlled and more comfortable. The reinforced rubber air bags and tight-sealing fittings are all gonna work together to help prevent leaks, and the plated brass components are gonna resist corrosion. And I just kind of have the parts laid out here on my table as they came out of the box, but on your screen, I wanna show you how these pieces are gonna go together. So at the top, you see the air bags with those custom-fit brackets for your Silverado or Sierra. So that's kind of what they're gonna look like when those brackets are attached to the air bags. Then at the bottom, you see that no-drill mounting plate for your compressor and for that wireless ECU. So I just kind of wanted to give you an idea of what the pieces are gonna look like when you start putting them together. One of the biggest perks of this system is the wireless app-based control system. Again, this is that ECU. This is what's gonna communicate via Bluetooth with your smartphone. So you're gonna be able to inflate or deflate both the air bags at the same time from your smartphone whether you're sitting in your cab or you're standing outside checking your trailer. The pressure's gonna be adjustable from 5 to 100 PSI, so you're gonna be able to dial in exactly the support that you're looking for. So this is a single-path control system. You'll download that, and then you'll just connect it to the system, and you'll be able to make those adjustments as needed.
