The best 2" hitch for your 2022 Toyota Highlander XSE is going to be the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver item # e75ZR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts directly to your Highlander with included hardware.

This is a class III trailer hitch that has a 5,000 lbs towing capacity and a 500 lbs tongue weight. I have linked an installation video below.

If you plan on towing with this hitch you will also need a wiring harness item # TK57VR and a ball mount kit item # C45534. This wiring harness is for the XSE models without the towing package.
