Are Breakaway Kit Cables Universal or Specific to a Breakaway System

The breakaway cable broke on my 7x14 Interstate cargo trailer. Are these cables universal? Or do I need a specific brand?

The cable part itself you can use from any brand but the pin might be different. If the pin is fine on your breakaway kit and you just need a cable we do carry cables by themselves # RM-8603

I have also included a link to all of the cables with pins that we carry. The cable and pin you referenced, # 3802350, is designed for Bright Way breakaway switch 3802308.
