When a heavy load or trailer pushes your truck’s rear down, steering and braking can get sketchy fast. The Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Ultimate air springs add up to 7,500 lbs of load-leveling support to keep things steady. Their large 7" double-bellows design gives more air volume for greater leveling strength at lower pressures, so your ride stays level without feeling stiff. Keeping your truck balanced also helps maintain safe headlight aim and even tire wear when hauling big weight.

Every load is different, and these air bags let you dial in exactly what you need. Inflate each spring independently for side-to-side leveling or add air up to 100 psi for maximum support when towing or carrying heavy gear. Drop back down to the 5 psi minimum when unloaded for a softer ride. Manual inflation valves and air lines are included for easy pressure adjustments, and compatible onboard compressor systems can be added later for even more convenience.
These aren’t your average helper springs. Each LoadLifter 7500 XL Ultimate bag is built from 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber with high-strength Zytel nylon endcaps that are lighter, stronger, and more corrosion resistant than steel. Air Lift’s exclusive upper and lower roll plates protect the bags from damage and boost load capacity. Inside each spring sits an internal jounce bumper that guards against bottoming out if you ever drive with low or no air pressure. It’s a system designed for serious work and real-world durability.

Even on rough highways or uneven terrain, these air springs help smooth out the ride. They absorb road shock and cut down on sway so your truck feels planted and confident whether you’re towing a fifth wheel or carrying a heavy bed load. With the suspension leveled out, steering response improves, braking feels more predictable, and the whole setup just feels more solid mile after mile.

First review was for Air Pump AL7400. Item AL89DQ installed on 2025 F350 Longbox. LOVE THEM! The airbags make for a level tow for our 5th wheel that as a tongue weight of 3,100 lbs. The ride with the 5th wheel trailer at 70psi is much improved. Level and fills like you are riding on a cloud. Yes, when not towing, and filled to 7psi, the load is a little more stiff than without the bags. To be expected though. Prior to installation, take time to confirm you received ALL parts including hardware pieces as I was missing the required M10 x 1.5 nut. I suggest watching the video a couple of times and keep it handy to review again along with the written instructions during installation. One thing not in the video, I suggest to remove both rear shocks to make placement of the assembled air boots MUCH easier as it gives you more open area to maneuver each into place. Installation took about 8hrs laying on my garage floor. You will need both Imperial and Metric sockets deep wrenches to complete the job. Purchase a new tube cutting tool to insure a clean cut on your air tubes. $10 to avoid air leak frustrations is a bargain. As I have a long box, cutting the first tube to the correct length is a must as there is not much extra tube available. I think I had 6 inches of waste and could not route it my preferred way. Have additional zip ties available so you can snug the air tubes to an existing harness or frame location.
