Question:

I am looking for a demco adapter base to fit in my gooseneck box that measures 23inch wide x 24inch long.

Since you have a gooseneck hitch in a box that would normally mean you have a flat bed truck that has a recessed gooseneck ball from the top of the truck bed. So the Demco Recon hitch adapter you'd normally need is the part # DM8550046 which was designed for that application. But since this hitch has a base footprint of 22 by 22 inches which is smaller than your box you'd actually want the part # DM8550045 since you don't need the recessed portion as your box is large enough to fit the base of the Recon hitches.
