What Are the Base Dimensions of the Demco Recon Adapter for Recessed Gooseneck Ball

What is your products base dimensions. Want to make sure it fits my cm recessed box is 14.5 by 14.5

Expert Reply:

The base dimensions of the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter for Recessed Ball # DM8550046 is 22" x 22" as you can see in the attached photo. Since this is designed for a recessed hitch ball setup the base is supposed to sit on top of the truck bed and the neck of the hitch sits down lower to accommodate the recessed box.

For this to fit properly with your setup the top of the gooseneck ball needs to be 13/16" or closer to the truck bed floor.
