Question:

GMC 2022 1500 truck, AT4 with transfer case I need a complete towing system. I noticed that most products only cover up to model year 2021. Can you recommend a complete system please. I want a removable supplemental braking component. Thanks

The basic flat towing components for your 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 include a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. There may be a few other parts to make everything easier but here are the parts I recommend for your setup:

Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - # RM-523198-5
Nighthawk All Terrain Tow Bar w/ LED Lights - # RM-676 (includes partial wiring)
Towing Combo Kit - # RM-9284-2 (includes the rest of the wiring as well as locks and a cover for the tow bar)
Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch - # RM-766
Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System - # HM39524
High-Low Adapter - See attached article. Bar-mounted height is about 18-1/4" once installed.

I like the Roadmaster Direct-Connect kit because it's really easy to make the connections and it looks sleek once the arms are removed for everyday driving.
