Recommended SumoSprings For 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 Carrying 1000lb Golf Cart In Bed

Question:

I occasionally carry a 1000# lifted golf cart in my 2021 Sierra 4x4 and it squats 1-2 inches lower that front. Looking at Sumosprings over Timbrens for ride quality. Not sure if blue or black would be the better choice.

For your 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 carrying a 1000lb golf cart I recommend the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SS45FR (black) which have a 1500lb load leveling capacity.

While this is a little more than you need for your golf cart, this will be a slightly stiffer spring so it will do better at preventing sag with the golf cart loaded than the # SS64FR (blue) you were looking at with a 1000lb capacity.

Since these springs are so much softer than Timbrens, going with the 1500lb springs will not affect your unloaded ride quality at at.
