Can the U-Bolt Plate # 117858 Be Used With 1-3/4 Wide Leaf Springs?

Hello - etrailer only sells this U-bolt plate for a round 2.5inch axle and 9/16inch diameter bolts. However, this U-bolt is for 2inch leaf springs and my leaf springs are only 1.75. Is that going to be a problem or can I still use this? etrailer does not sell a U-bolt plate for 1.75inch wide leaf springs and 2.5inch round axles. Thanks!
