Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at a U-bolt plate for two and a half inch diameter round trailer axles. Now, this plate is used with U-bolts to secure an axle to the leaf springs, which are mounted to the trailer frame. It attaches with two, nine-16th inch diameter round U-bolts. U-bolts are sold separately and available at etrailer.com. It fits round trailer axles with a two and a half inch diameter. We can tell that by taking a measurement from the edge of this hole to the edge of that hole.
So, we place a ruler on there, and we take that measurement, we can see that that measures right around two and a half inches.This is designed for use with 7500 pound solid bar axles. It works with two inch wide leaf springs. The plate is made from a durable steel construction. And it gives us a measurement edge to edge this direction of about six inches by four inches.That's gonna do it for today's look at the U-bolt plate for two and a half inch diameter round trailer axles.
