Question:

I have an old trailer with vintage expensive and hard to get rims which I am trying to change to a normal 5 on 4-1/2 hub. The inner bearing is LM48548 1.357 and the outer bearing is L44649 1.063. I dont see any hubs on your site that use the LM48548 bearing but you do have some that use the L68149 1.378 bearing. Is this close enoughinch to work with what I have, or do you have an option that Im not seeing?

We do not have a brake hub that will fit a LM48548 bearing. If you are looking to change to a 5 on 4-1/2 hub it is an option to use the Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 3.5K Axles - 10" - 5 on 4-1/2 item # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K. However, even at .003 of a difference this may lead to potential issues down the road.

Another option for you is to replace the axle. If you would like to email me your current axles dimensions I can find you a set up that includes hubs with a 5 on 4-1/2 lug pattern.
