Troubleshooting No Power to Furrion Camera System with GM Power Adapter on 2022 GM Truck

Question:

Hello - Purchased the FR87PR from you to get power to the Furrion Back up camera. The plug works - Everything works but not getting power to camera. The RV came pre-wired with bracket. Camera does work when plugged into DC plug with the 4.4 inch monitor. Ive tried running with running lights and back up lights. No blue power light turns on. 2022 GMC Sierra SLT Any ideas to try? Thanks in advance

The 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter w/ Power Switch # FR87PR is definitely the right product for your application since you have a 2022 GMC Sierra pickup. Since you've tested the camera with DC power aside from your trailer wiring it sounds like there is something preventing the power getting from this adapter back to your trailer.

Sometimes there are switches inside the trailer in a cabinet or near the breaker box that you'll need to flip to send power back to those camera circuits so definitely start there. If you can't find anything physically or in your trailer manual it would be worth testing the adapter just to make sure yours is working properly. You can do this by plugging it into your trailer and running through all of the various functions or using a circuit tester for this.
