Question… If I don’t upgrade the old school trailer lights to LEDs, should I still use the T One 118592 kit?

Yes. You can definitely hook up your LED tow vehicle's wiring harness with your 4-pin trailer harness that has old school taillights. If you happen to replace your boat's lights with upgraded LEDs like the # TLL16RK, you can wire those into the harness like normal.
From your vehicle you inputted into the fit guide, you have a 2013 Lexus ES 350. The perfect 4-way harness you need is the Tekonsha T-One Connector # 118592. This harness comes with a much higher-quality converter box than the Curt and Hopkins alternatives.
