Troubleshooting New Trailer Plug Not Working for 2021 Lexus RX 350

Question:

I have 2021 Lexus rx350 n I added a hitch n the trailer lights but the lights ain’t working n I check the fuse box with a tester n the light won’t it come on

I'm not sure what wiring you purchased but if it's anything like the Curt T-Connector # C56217 for a 2021 Lexus RX 350 without the tow package then the system should be working once you get the module and fuse installed. If you aren't seeing power to the fuse then I recommend using your tester on the OEM plug pins to see if you find power anywhere there. If you still can't find any power I recommend taking your vehicle to your local Lexus dealer to have them look at your OEM wiring. It's possible your brand new wiring kit is a dud and needs to be replaced but you'll want to check your OEM wiring plug first to confirm which end the problem is on.
