The trailer wiring harness # 118252 is designed to fit a 2012 Lexus RX 350 that came with the factory tow package. If your RX 350 did not come with the factory tow package then harness will not work. If you are unsure if your model has the factory tow package you can have a Lexus dealer run the VIN in their system and tell you how the vehicle is equipped.

There are fuses if the vehicle has the factory tow package. under the hood in locations 43 and 44, and in the cab of the vehicle in location 22 is where you will find the fuses related to the tow package wiring.

If it turns out that you do not have the factory tow package you will need a different wiring harness, # 118478.
