How Tire Age Works

Question:

If I order trailer tires will they be fresh? For example, If the new tires arrive already 1 year old does this mean I have lost an entire year of service life? Trailer tires do not last very long is why I ask.Thank you.

When ordering new tires like The Karrier ST235/85R16 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range E # AM10295 you may receive a tire that is a year old but that does not effect the warranty or the age life of tire. The tires we sell will be not higher than a year, closer to a few months of age. The tires are kept in the ideal temperature and inside the tire age doesn't take affect until you actually start using the tire.

The Karrier ST235/85R16 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range E # AM10295 has a ply rating 10 with a maximum load rating of 3,640 pounds at 95 psi per tire.
