When you’re towing long distances or through summer heat, this tire is ready to handle the load. The Karrier ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire is Load Range E with a 10-ply rating and carries up to 3,500 lbs at 90 psi. Its M speed rating (81 mph) and DOT-compliant design make it dependable for steady highway towing without excess heat buildup.
The 5-rib tread design keeps the ride smooth and quiet while supporting even wear across the surface. It combines silica-infused tread and angled sipes that cut water to reduce hydroplaning in wet weather. Whether the pavement is dry or slick, the tire’s radial construction keeps things stable and predictable.
Unlike bias tires, the radial cords in this ST tire run at a 90-degree angle to travel, limiting internal friction as the sidewall flexes. That means less rolling resistance, cooler running temperatures, and a longer tread life on the highway. The result is better steering response and stability at higher speeds.
Things happen on the road, but this tire’s 1-year worry-free guarantee has you covered. If it’s damaged within the first 12 months, it’s replaced at no charge. That kind of backup adds confidence when you hit the highway with a full load behind you.

2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)

I totally understand your concern David, but please be assured that our tires are stored in our climate controlled warehouse and are not exposed to sunlight, which is typically what ages them the most. Depending on the popularity of the tire, the age can vary. If you ever need anything along your journey, we will be here and happy to help!
