Question:
Hi, Im wondering is there is an updated answer to the question about compatability with these two products? I have a Reese 5th Wheel Hitch and want to install the Firestone Air Bags. Thanks for any help on this.

I do have a rear suspension enhancement option for your 2013 Ford F-150, however, the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs, # F2525, are not compatible with most fifth wheel frame brackets that mount to the outboard side of the vehicles frame rail. Most fifth wheel brackets block the frame and it is not recommended to install the Ride-Rite kits on top of fifth wheel brackets.
If you have a fifth wheel kit that uses the 4 individual universal L-brackets, then the Ride-Rite kit may work. You will want to measure the space available on the frame rail to be sure. The top mounting bracket of the Ride-Rite kit is 9-1/2 inches wide. This means you must have at least 4-3/4, or 5 inches to be comfortable, of space available in front of and behind the axle centerline on the frame rail (see photo). There can be no obstructions.
If your fifth wheel brackets do cover the outboard side of the frame rail, then I recommend looking into a set of the Timbren Suspension System. The Timbren systems mount on the bottom of the frame rail and will not interfere with fifth wheel frame brackets. I use a set of Timbren springs on my truck and they work great for towing and hauling heavy loads. There are different Timbren kits depending on how your truck is equipped. I have listed the Timbren part numbers and the models they fit below.
4WD non SVT - # TFR1504D
2WD non SVT - # TFR1502D
4WD SVT - # TFR1504R
