Question:

I have a 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness edition and I need too verify which 2inch receivers will fit this model. It will be used for a bike rack and a kayak trailer that fully loaded is around 1000 lbs. Thanks in advance for the help.

The 2022 Subaru Outback and Outback Wilderness share the same hitch fits.

Although the # DT73RR Draw-Tite Class III hitch is a fit for your vehicle, once installed the entire hitch would be visible from the rear. If that doesn't bother you, this hitch would work perfectly for you.

Most prefer a partially concealed hitch like # e25TR which installs so the hitch crossbar is hidden behind the rear bumper with only the receiver opening and safety chain loops being visible from the rear.

To tow with the hitch, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness like # 118467, a ball mount like # 2923 and a trailer ball like # 19261 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball.
