How To Choose Correct Trailer Wiring Harness for 2019 Toyota Highlander

Question:
I have a 2019 Highlander ltd. I bought a tow hitch from you for our bikes, but now I want to tow a trailer. I need a wiring harness for the trailer lights. Do you know the harness I need? I have heard that highlanders come pre-wired, but that might not be correct.

The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118449 is a fit for a 2019 Toyota Highlander and it's what I recommend. It fits all models with or without the tow package. If you do end up having the factory tow package then there would just be a section of the harness you would not use but most don't have the factory tow package so this should not matter though you would be covered either way. It's a plug-in-play install and has the most common and universal type of trailer connector, 4-way/4-pole.
