  • Using A Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution With Gen-Y Weight Distribution Shank
Yes, the Gen-Y Torsion Weight Distribution Shank # GY54FR can be mounted in either orientation to provide more rise or drop. It will have a gauge on both sides of the hitch so that you can uses in either orientation and clearly see the gauge. Your 2020 Artic Fox must have between 400lbs and 1,100lbs of tongue weight to properly operate the torsion hitch. Yes, your Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System # C17500 will work with the Gen-Y weight distribution shank. It shares the same 1-1/4"...

  • Can The Reese RP45018 Extension Be Used To Flat Tow A Jeep Wrangler Behind A 2021 Ford F-350?
As you Jeep Wrangler weighs 4,200 pounds and you will be using the Reese Titan Hitch Box Extension # RP45018 at the 41" length, there will be no issues using it on your 2021 Ford F-350. You are getting pretty close to the 5,000 pound max capacity though, so I do not recommend adding any extra weight to the Jeep when you are towing it. With that said, I do recommend a couple add on parts to go with this. The Curt # C87UR (for 2-1/2" hitch) and # C27UR (for 2" hitch) anti rattle devices...

  • How To Prevent A Bike Rack That Wobbles While Driving
Some wobble is unavoidable with bike racks like the Saris Superclamp # SA4025F. To help limit the wobble, you can use this anti rattle # C27UR. I've used it and it works really well especially for vertical movement. If you haven't already, double check all the bolts on the carrier and when you're tightening down the anti rattle bolt that comes with the rack be sure to wiggle the rack up and down when tightening it.

  • Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver For a 2003 Ford E-450 RV Cutaway Chassis
The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 33055 is the part you are looking for to fit your 2003 Ford E-450 RV Cutaway chassis. I recommend using a etrailer Rubber Hitch Cover # 22282 to cut down on the whistle that often comes from having an open receiver tube. If you are using this for a carrier the Curt Anti-Rattle Hitch Clamp # C27UR will allow you to remove the excess play so your carrier isn't rattling around while you drive.

  • Is Anti-Rattle Device Needed for Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender
The anti-rattle bracket that comes with the Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender # MPG907 isn't a necessity but it is good to have as it reduces the amount of movement you'll see with the extender so I definitely recommend using it. You can also swap it out for a tool-free anti-rattle device like the Curt # C27UR or Brophy # RHSB to help speed things up. Attached are some review videos for you to check out.

  • Extended Ball Mount For Towing an Enclosed Trailer Behind a Motorhome
I have a couple options for you as the Curt High-Low Adapter 45797 # C27KR is only designed to be used with tow bars when flat towing. The Curt Class III Ball Mount with 2-5/16" Ball # C45065 is only 9-1/4" long from the receiver hitch pin hole to the ball mount hole. The Curt Ball Mount # D-28 also has a 6" drop like the other Curt ball mount but this mount is 14-1/4" long from the receiver pin to ball mount hole. That would gain you 5 inches without using an adapter. The ball mount...

  • Trailer Hitch Receiver And Wiring For a 2011 BMW X3 28i xDrive
To go with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13316 on your 2011 BMW X3 I recommend the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter # C59236. This powered converter will connect to the battery for the power that goes to the trailer lights. This will prevent the vehicle wiring from being overloaded due to the excess draw that a non powered converter will cause. The Draw-Tite QSP Trailer Hitch Silencer and Cover # 63080 is only designed to be used on Draw-Tite 2" Receivers. I have seen customer reviews...

  • Is Stabilizing Strap Needed For Curt Hitch C13206 or Will Clamp be Okay
Thanks so much for your purchase, and I can tell you that the Curt Cam Buckle Stabilizing Strap # 18050 is not a requirement for use with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13206. While Curt does recommend the use of the strap, it is not needed in order to maintain the warranty. A clamp is an excellent idea for stability, so definitely continue to use a clamp like the etrailer Anti-Rattle Hitch Stabilizer # e99007 or Curt Anti-Rattle Hitch Clamp # C27UR.

  • Solution for Weight Distribution Shank with Play in Hitch

  • Can The etrailer Hitch Pin Alignment Collar Be Used With Anti-Rattle Locking Devices
No, The etrailer Hitch Pin Alignment Collar # e98942 will does not work as an anti-rattle device. The Let's Go Aero # 63232 will work with The etrailer Hitch Pin Alignment Collar # e98942 (only for alligning the carrier) as long as your hitch mounted cargo tray has a hollow shank. The Aero anti rattle device pulls the shank against the inside wall of the hitch receiver using a spring block and tightened down bolt. This will not interfere at all with the etrailer collar. If you have a solid...

  • Is the 8K Capacity of the Curt Ball Mount 3" Rise/4" Drop for 2" Hitches for Both Rise and Drop
The Curt Ball Mount for 2" Hitches part # C84WR has an 8,000 lb weight capacity which is for both rise and drop positions. In regards to fit, this will vary by receiver, some are tighter than others and some are looser. It comes down to both the hitch side and ball mount side. That said, if you're worried about rattle you can add an anti-rattle like the Curt Anti-Rattle Hitch Clamp for 2" Hitches part # C27UR.

No, both the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13416 and etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e23ZR do not have a threads in the hitch pin hole for a threaded hitch pin lock. That being said we do offer a variety of anti-rattle devices, like the Curt # C27UR, which can be used to prevent whatever accessory you have in the hitch from rattling.

  • How To Determine Compatibility of Curt Anti-Rattle Hitch Clamp
The Curt Anti-Rattle Hitch Clamp part # C27UR is compatible with any vehicle that 1) has a 2" x 2" receiver tube opening and 2) has a collar around the outside of the receiver tube opening. If your vehicle has both of these things then it should work well but Curt does not offer vehicle specific testing unfortunately. If you would like to send a photo of your hitch I would be glad to see if I can offer any further fit info.

  • Recommended Hitch for 2022 Hyundai Tucson
For the 2022 Hyundai Tucson we have several options available and all are class III rated with a 2" receiver. I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver, # e38KR as it is equal in specs and quality to the other options but offered at a better price point. Most all manufacturers of bike racks, cargo carriers and other hitch mounted accessories are moving away from a 1-1/4" option and making all accessories fit the 2" receiver for uniformity. This provides ease of use for customers...

  • Is There a Replacement U-Bolt for the Brophy Stabilizer Clamp and U-Bolt for 2" Hitch Receiver
I do have an option for you but we don't offer a replacement u-bolt for the Brophy Stabilizer Clamp and U-Bolt for 2" Hitch Receiver part # RSCP. The item is honestly pretty cost effective from the go so even if it were available, a new u-bolt would run you just slightly less than a new assembly and this option gets you new nuts and plate. That said, I think now might be a good time to upgrade to a tool-less design, the Curt Anti-Rattle Hitch Clamp for 2" Hitches part # C27UR.

Yes, the Curt Anti-Rattle Hitch Clamp # C27UR will work with your Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37100ET in your 2" receiver as long as it has a collar on the end of the receiver. It is designed to work with both solid shanks like the one included with your Equal-i-zer and hollow shanks that some other manufacturers use.
