So what does programer do if not add horsepower and what does it mean when says gave to download tune and install it on truck ? I have 37 inch tires and a 8-inch lift.

I can definitely clarify things for you. With the Superchips Flashpaq F5 # SU1545, this device is designed to help calibrate your large after market tires, to read clear trouble codes, adjust your TMPS, and adjust your speed limiter. It does not include tunes that increase your horsepower. Also, this particular model does not allow you to download custom tunes from your computer onto the device.

For a great option that does increase horsepower on your 2003 Ford F-250 Super Duty with a turbocharged 6.0L V8, I recommend the Edge Diesel Evolution CTS3 Performance Tuner - Color Screen # EP96TR. The horsepower tunes available have the following levels:

- Level 1: 20 HP & 80 lb-ft
- Level 2: 60 HP & 100 lb-ft
- Level 3: 80 HP & 150 lb-ft
