Best Hitch Receiver w/ Ground Clearance for a 2012 Honda Odyssey
Question:
I am interested in the e98862 Hitch, but unfortunately, my driveway has a steep decline to a flat road and I dont want the Hitch to drag on the driveway when I leave. Before I buy it, I want to check the dimensions. Could you please send me a PDF or DWG file of the e98862 dimensions? Thanks!

I have a solution for you but they don't give us that information. I can tell you that the side to side bolt hole spacing of the etrailer Trailer Hitch item # e98862 is 56.13", center to center. This is the frame width measurement. The bolt holes on each mounting flange are 3.18" apart, also measured center to center. I've shown these dimensions on the photo I have linked below of the diagram I made. Additionally we had a 2012 Honda Odyssey in and we took some measurements off of it once we had the hitch installed. The bottom of the hitch sits 11" above the ground. The center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the rear bumper is 5".
A better option that will specifically address the clearance concerns you have is the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch item # 306-X7253. This hitch has a completely hidden cross bar and the only visible portion of the hitch is the 2" receiver. The lowest portion of this hitch sits 12" above the ground and you would only have to worry about the 2" x 2" receiver making connect instead of the entire 50" width of the cross tube like the etrailer item # e98862,
If you need a wiring harness to control your trailer or accessory's lighting functions you will want the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # 118521.
