Do I Need To Have My 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK Flashed By a Dealer To Work The Trailer Lights ?

Question:

I just hooked up my trailer wiring kit on my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. My question is , do I need to take my Jeep to the dealer to activate the lights? I know there are working, because when I checked it with my test light the light lit up. Im picking up my new boat tomorrow and I dont want to have any issues. This is my 4th jeep that I have put a hitch and wiring on and I think I had to take it to the dealer to activate something but I cant remember what it was. Possibly the reverse solenoid on the trailer. I dont have a trailer available to test it on so thats why Im reaching out to you. Thanks
