I just hooked up my trailer wiring kit on my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. My question is , do I need to take my Jeep to the dealer to activate the lights? I know there are working, because when I checked it with my test light the light lit up. Im picking up my new boat tomorrow and I dont want to have any issues. This is my 4th jeep that I have put a hitch and wiring on and I think I had to take it to the dealer to activate something but I cant remember what it was. Possibly the reverse solenoid on the trailer. I dont have a trailer available to test it on so thats why Im reaching out to you. Thanks

The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118727 for your 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK Laredo will not require any programming from the dealer. Since this system ties into the tail lights circuits rather than the factory to port connection.
