Question:
Will it work on 2022 Prius AWD or do I need an elevated platform

Expert Reply:
If your Prius has a 2 inch hitch like the EcoHitch # EH53VR installed, the Curt # C18113 would work fine for you. That cargo carrier has a straight shank, so it won't offer additional ground clearance. You'll have roughly 10 inches of ground clearance under the carrier.
Assuming you have a 2 inch receiver, I'd recommend the Reese # 63153 instead, as it features an angled shank that will provide 2-1/2 inches of additional ground clearance.
If you have a 1-1/4 inch Class I receiver, you'll need to use a compatible carrier such as the Curt # C18145 which has a straight shank which would offer the same ground clearance as the # C18113 mentioned above.
I've linked to some product videos that you might find helpful.
