Question:
I have 6 1/6 x 2 1/2 approx oval backup light on rear corner of boat trailer. It’s incandescent and want led conversion replacement. Problem: it’s on the corner and has an arc to fit corner rubber grommet. Do you have led backup light with an arc to it?

Expert Reply:
Although all the oval-style 6 x 2-1/2 grommet mounted reverse lamps we offer are meant to be mounted on a flat surface, we might have a solution that'll work for you.
If the lamp isn't sealed and uses a typical replaceable 1156 single function bulb you can replace the bulb with an LED assembly like part # ARC28FR. The bulbs are similar in size to an 1156 bulb, so they'll fit just fine in the existing lamp housing.
If your back up lamps use a different bulb, let me know which bulb they use, and I'll check to see if we offer a LED replacement bulb that'll work for you.
