Moisture is no match for this light. The housing and lens are sonically sealed into a single waterproof unit, keeping water and debris out even when fully submerged. Whether you’re towing through rain, washing down equipment, or backing into the water, the sealed design protects the internal socket and bulb from corrosion and failure.
Rough roads and vibration can take a toll on lights, but this one’s built tough. The shock-proof socket protects the incandescent bulb from impact and movement, so it stays working even in bumpy conditions. And when the time eventually comes, the bulb is easy to replace—no need to change the whole housing.
Installation stays straightforward with compatibility for industry standard 2-prong plugs like part #A45CB or #A49PB (sold separately). The recessed mount fits neatly into a grommet such as #A70GB (sold separately), giving a clean, flush look. You can wire it directly to your reverse circuit or a switched 12-volt circuit—no relay required—for an easy, reliable setup that works every time you shift into reverse.

I'm highly impressed with these lights. I had one of the original amber Triton insignia running lights go out on my 2009 bass boat. Upon searching for a replacement I found these white lights could be used also in its place. After putting my order in, the lights arrived a day earlier than projected, came nicely packaged, AND the electrical connections came pre greased with dielectric grease. Very simple plug and play installation. THESE THINGS ARE BRIGHT!

It still works and fits like the original. I now keep a spare. I have used etrailer for several trailertowing parts now and the professional knowledge and service are top-notch!
The light has no apparent mounting method. No screw or bolt holes. Can’t drill mounting holes without removing the lens, which appears to be unremovable.Makes sense, it’s watertight. No instructions at all.
My previous purchases at strainer have always been satisfactory, at the very least. I’ll have to return this one.

This light is a recessed light that is meant to be installed into a pre-existing hole using a grommet part # a70gb. To wire it in you can use plug part # A45CB or plug part # A49PB. If this is not the type of light that you are looking for then I am happy to look for one that does. Would you be able to send me a picture of the light that you are replacing.
I ordered the wrong lights luckily they were out of stock but Paula S. Got the right lights and I’m happy thanks Paula.
