Without any load on the vehicle the Timbren front suspension kit part # TGMFK25D would not add any height at all. It would reduce sag when there is a load though.

I found the article you mentioned from Timbren and a 1 inch gap is recommended for the rear kits but for the front kits they recommend no gap at all. Since the part #TGMFK25D is a front kit you'd want to not have any gap at all.
