Why are Four Jounce-Style Springs Included with Timbren Front Suspension for 2016 Chevy Silverado

Updated 05/01/2018 | Published 04/30/2018

Question:

I have a 2016 Chevy 2500 4x4 and when I look at the instructions for installation it only shows using two of the Timbren springs. Why did the kit come with four? I understand that the two factory axle bumpers get changed but where do the other two Timbren springs go?

The Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System # TGMFK25D that you referenced is confirmed to fit your 2016 Chevy Silverado and does include 4 jounce-style springs. There are actually two factory bump stops at each end of the front axle on your Silverado, so these will be used to replace all four of them.

These feature an 8,000 pound capacity and will do a great job of enhancing your truck's front suspension. I have attached the written installation instructions as well.
