Features to know about

Stay Level and Confident Under Heavy Front Loads: 8,000-lb Capacity Support

A front-mounted plow or heavy gear can pull the nose of your vehicle down and throw off your handling. The Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System adds up to 8,000 lbs of support to keep the front end level and stable. The hollow rubber springs work with your factory suspension to resist sag, maintain proper headlight aim, and improve steering and braking control when the weight up front climbs.

Side-by-side truck comparison showing reduced front-end sag when equipped with Timbren Suspension Enhancement System under heavy snowplow load.

Smooth Out Rough Roads: Progressive Hollow Rubber Springs

Every bump or pothole hits differently when your suspension is overloaded. These hollow rubber springs compress progressively—soft on light hits, firm under pressure—to absorb road shock and keep your ride comfortable. The stacked barrel design stiffens as weight increases, cushioning light loads while adding support when things get serious. The result is a smoother, more controlled drive whether you’re rolling empty or pushing through rough terrain with a load up front.

Stay Steady in Turns and Uneven Conditions: Independent Spring Action

Sharp turns, uneven ground, or off-center loads can cause body roll that unsettles your steering. Each Timbren spring works independently to stabilize its side of the vehicle. That independent action helps tame sway and lean in corners and compensates automatically for uneven weight distribution across the front axle. You stay planted and in control even when conditions aren’t perfectly balanced.

Illustration showing how Timbren suspension prevents sway, body roll, and squat for improved vehicle stability under uneven loads.

Install It Once and Get Back to Work: Bolt-On Design with No Drilling

Adding real load support doesn’t have to be complicated. This system bolts directly in place of your factory bump stops with vehicle-specific brackets and hardware—no drilling required. With just basic tools, you can compress the springs into place and be ready to roll in an afternoon. Once installed, the rubber springs automatically engage as needed, so there’s no air lines, compressors, or manual adjustments to mess with later.

Immediately helped with ride quality and front-end porpoising under load. Better steering quality also.

Great product!! Great price!! Great customer service!! Fast shipping!!

this product #TGMFK25D is very good to have,i have 2021 gmc 3500 HD, i have a grille guard installed, bring my frontend down, now its alot better, i think it pick up the front...love it, looks alot better now. its the best thing i did for my truck..

by:

This product was great for my snow plow. I’m very happy

by:

I put these on the front of our Chevy Silverado 2500HD to help support the snow plow.

by:

I run these on my 2016 Silverado 2500. I have a Western MVP3 plow that is pretty heavy. Before I put these on I would drop over 3” when I raised the plow. Now it drops around 1”. It handles the load better. Like anything, there is a sacrifice. When not loaded, it does ride rougher than before. It’s not horse and buggy rough by any means. It’s just noticeably not as smooth. I am happy with these and if I got a different plow truck tomorrow, I’d put these on it.

by:

Excellent product put Timbrens on all my trucks. I got them for front and the last year did the back. I own a landscape business and they are a must have for hauling and for snow plowing.

by:

Arrived fast and installed in about an hour.

Removed the old bump stops with couple screwdrivers.

For the new install, don't waste your time with soapy water (I tried it)...just use liquid soap without the water...worked way better. Coat the entire top and 1/4 inch down the side to the first indent.

Once you get it in partially, lower the truck to help seat it the rest of the way.

I used a flat 15 inch pry bar to help push it in initially.

Installed on a 2021 Chevy 3500 4x4 dually.

by:

worked great keeping my front end higher when my plow was on (boss 8' 2" V plow)

by:

I have used Timbren products on multiple vehicles over time. They work great! The last 2 applications were on a 2011 Ford F-350 and now a 2015 GMC Sierra 3500. I have a snow plow installed and these help to keep the front end from sagging. I have also noticed that they help keep the truck from swaying in a turn, kind of like installing a heavier sway bar on the front end. This is noticeable even without carrying additional loads. Ride quality remains unaffected too. It took me about an hour to install, although it took a good deal of effort to get them seated.

by:

Excellent product I have it on the rear already put them on the front made the truck very stable and secure would highly recommend putting them on any vehicle you’re towing they seem more stable than airbags and it’s nice not having to air them up.

by:

They work very well. I have a heavy snow plow and they add a lot more stability to the front axle.

I plow snow alot with my truck and the timbren are holding up very well

by:

These are a must have for any plow truck. I run these on the front and back and it’s completely changed how my truck handles with a load. I recommend them to anybody that uses their truck for hauling heavy loads or plowing. I found the easiest way to remove the old bump stops is to drive a long screwdriver straight through them and then you have the leverage to twist and turn to pop them out.

by:

We just purchased a new 5th wheel camper so I decided to change out the bump stops on my 2014 GMC 2500 HD 4X4. I purchased the proper Timbren system for both the front and rear of my truck.

They arrived in less than 10 days and I immediately set out to install them.

I was eight weeks out from a neck fusion so I knew I needed to be careful. I used a floor jack, long flat bladed screwdriver, hammer, a short 2x4, small wood shims and liquid soap.

The floor jack gave me the distance between the frame and axle after popping out the factory bump stops with the screwdriver and hammer. I soaped up the top of the Timbrens and positioned them, placed the 2x4 or shims to level the bottom of the Timbrens in place and lowered the floor jack. Just as advertised, they seated right into place.

The install was NOT a pain in my neck as I had anticipated.

The ride when loaded with the camper or farming material is cushioned and more level. Great product!!

2016 GMC 2500HD Duramax already fill the difference on city streets pot holes .easy and fast install

by:

Install went great diy. Only reason I gave a 4 star is I have not tried with a load as of yet. Will update after.

by:

Quality products, fair price, excellent customer information, great selection to choose from

by:

What an addition to my 3500 chev. Front end is way more stable in turns and corners towing a 16000lb fifth wheel. Wish I had discovered these before I spent the money on air bags on the rear as I would have bought the rears as well instead of bags.

These work great. Working so good that I actually ordered the rears to get rid of the airbags as the pump quit and it’s cheaper to install the timbrens over buying a new compressor for the air bags.

by:

I first put the Timbrens on the rear to help stop bouncing and porpoising on highways and bridge ends when towing. The rears have a gap and do not touch the springs until the truck is loaded, working great and keeping a smooth unloaded ride. The front Timbrens fit snugly and touch all the time. The ride is firm and a bit harsh with my unloaded truck having a snow plow spring option. When my trailer 30 ft trailer is hooked up, the front of the truck is slightly lighter. Towing with the Timbrens is nice and the bounce and rebound porpoising is very controlled. I would like the front Timbrens to be a little softer when the truck is unloaded, but I think these units are a nice add-on for better control, safety, and preventing damages. I had the fronts installed at the shop when rotating tires and a front end alignment. The rears installed easily.

They have worked out great when towing my 30 ft trailer. We took a coast-to-coast trip across the northern USA and into Canadian Rockies and excessive bouncing was controlled. I still would like the front to be a bit shorter and not always touching, so the unloaded ride would be less harsh.

by:

Works like it should , not difficult to install, this is my third truck to use this product

by:

They work exactly as advertised. Held my boss plow with 24 inch extension up off the ground.
Only bad thing is you loose your smooth ride. front end is much stiffer.
I recommend theses for use with plows. Excellent performance for the price.

These timbren GMFK25D SES fit the front of my 2025 3500hd silverado perfectly. It came with 4 pre-assembled units that replaced the factory bump stops.

by:

The Timbrens have worked well on my '23 GMC 3500 Denali. I have a truck camper weighing 3500 lbs and I also use the truck to tow a '23 Durango Gold 356RLQ 5th wheel trailer.

by:

The front Timbren are working very good. The rear not so good

by:

I love these things. They are worth the upfront expense. I have them on two ¾'s, one ½, and a minivan for road trips. This particular set is full-time active up front. I have a 2" leveling kit and I'm in em no matter what. Zero complaints though. Solid performance through all aspects. I don't run any front-end attachments.

  • Which Timbren Kit is Correct for My Truck?
Hey Lyle! Thanks for reaching out. I understand the confusion on the Timbren kits for your 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500HD, and this should clear it up. The correct kit for your truck in most cases Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TGMRCK25D. This 8,600 lbs kit is for the rear of a non-modified Silverado 2500HD and works with both 2WD and 4WD. It's a double-convoluted spring, which means that it's made with two flexible sections stacked together, which gives it more room to flex...

I recommend installing the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSF-202-47 for your 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 dually diesel. These are our lightest capacity jounce springs at a 1,800lb so they will not give you a harsher ride. The 2,500lb Springs # SS66RR are stiffer so they will not absorb as much shock due to the denser material. I would only recommend Timbren Springs # TGMFK25D If you were adding a bunch of weight such as a plow. The Timbren creates a very harsh ride quality...

  • How Much Distance is Ideal between Vehicle Frame and Timbren Spring
Timbren likes to recommend 1 inch between the axle and the Timbren when the truck is unloaded. We have found that this works the best. This allows the suspension to feel when the vehicle is unloaded and still gives you support when needed when towing. Since you have 1-1/2 inches currently you'd want to use the 1/2 inch spacer part # TA25722-90P00 to give you the ideal support/ride quality. Then for a the front axle you'd want the part # TGMFK25D which is confirmed as a fit as well.
