Can 5th Wheel Hitch for 2019 Chevy Factory Pucks Fit 2020 Chevy Factory Pucks

Will a 5th wheel hitch off of a 2019 Chevy fit a 2020 Chevy with factory pucks

The puck system dimensions changed from the 2019 GM trucks to the 2020 GM trucks but it was for the better. There was a difference in the footprint for the short and long beds but then GM matched the footprint for both sizes in 2020. If you can let me know what 5th wheel hitch you currently have I can see if there is a way for you to get it to fit the newer 2020 model without having to replace the entire hitch.

For example, the head of the B&W Companion # BWRVK3700 for a 2019 Chevy Silverado 2500 long bed is the same head as the B&W Companion # BWRVK3710 which is the 2020 equivalent. This means that you can simply swap out the base of the Companion to part # BWRVB3710 for it to be compatible with your 2020 model.
