Question:

We need an aluminum lid on the new bathroom exhaust fan 140 as part of the whole fan. We live in Mexico and the plastic just gets burned up so now that we need a new fan - what about a metal lid? HELP!

I have a solution for you.

You can use the Metal Low Profile Replacement Cover # BV0534-00 to replace the plastic dome on the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan - Manual Lift - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" - White # V2094SP-30.

They are compatible and will work just fine.

I bought a 1964 Airstream Bambi II. It has a HENG'S 14" RV Roof Vent with 12 volt fan. Can I replace the plastic cover with your low pro metal cover?

@Penniep No, it will not. The metal dome item # BV0534-00 assembly you were looking at measures 14-1/4" by 14-1/4" and connects with a continuous hinge. We do not carry them but from what I can find online your Heng's vent has a 3-point hinge style so this lid would not work. You could replace yours with the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent - Manual - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" - Metal item # V2110SP-24. This is a brand new assembly and includes the same metal vent.
