This metal replacement cover is built to last where plastic lids fail. Made of galvanized steel, it resists corrosion and sun damage so it can handle years of weather and UV exposure. The mill finish gives it a clean, low-profile look that fits right in while adding serious durability over thin, brittle plastic covers.

If your old lid cracked or blew off, this one locks down tight. The continuous metal hinge runs the full width of the vent for a solid, even seal and smooth lifting action. It’s designed to attach right to the hinge and operator arm on compatible Ventline Ventadome roof vents, including model V2110, so it opens and closes like new again.
Sized exactly for Ventline’s 14-1/4" by 14-1/4" openings, the cover drops into place without guesswork. The 1.4" low-profile design keeps it sleek and secure on the roof, so it won’t stick up or catch the wind.
A slot is spot-welded into the underside of the lid so the operator arm can attach directly using its existing rivet connection and clip. There’s no need for extra brackets or rivets—just line it up, clip it in, and you’re ready to open and close the vent smoothly again.

Today on this enclosed trailer were going to install part number BV0534-00 from Ventline. This is their galvanized replacement lid. To start off, well go ahead and remove the trim panel at the very bottom. Next well go ahead and remove the screen and also the crank handle as well. Once we have those parts away, well go ahead and reinstall the handle temporarily and raise the lid up, so we can remove it easily. Now well go ahead and then unscrew the crank assembly from the crossbar and then we can go ahead and release it from the lid.
Well slide the arm down towards an open slot at the bottom and then we can go ahead and release it. We got completely loose from the crank, now well go up top and go ahead and remove it from the vent. Well go ahead and open it up and you can see theres a small tab on the inside edge of the hinge and usually these are twisted to the inside, so we just have to untwist it and then it can slide off. Now we can go ahead and slide on our new vent cover and basically reinstall it in reverse order. Well go ahead and put our crank assembly up into place and line up the arm with the vent dome, put it into track and then well go ahead and reinstall the crank arm to the vent.
Then we can reinstall our screen and then our trim ring around the edge. In just a few steps the old one has been removed and our new one has been installed. With that, thatll finish it for our install of part number BV0534-00 from Ventline on this inclosed trailer. .

It’s been installed a year now and still looks and works great. Best replacement for the top vent on the market. I am not sending another pic, because it still looks as good a year later.

Its now been over a year now since I installed the two Ventline BV0534-00 replacement covers on my old Alaskan camper and they are holding up very well and performing as good as new in spite of being continually exposed to the Ozark elements and excessive humidity.I just wish I had installed them years ago and avoided the expense and hassle of having to replace several inferior plastic covers over the years.Quality speaks for itself.

Condition: Badly Dinged
Notes: There are dings on the item. It is also a little bent. Otherwise, new and unused.

Great solution for a fix on original equipment to our trailer! Here in Arizona the abundant sun causes most plastics to deteriat and fail as seen in my original pictures. Since that installation no notible deteriation has been noted! Working Great!
