Can a Metal Replacement Vent Cover be Used to Replace a Plastic Vent Cover

Question:

Will this cover fit into the plastic assembly that was in it. Can I just slide the old plastic cover off and slide the new metal cover on to the same vent without having to change the entire vent? Otherwise I will order the plastic replacement cover. tks

Replacement vent covers are very specific in terms of what vents they will fit. Metal cover # BV0534-00 is designed to fit Ventline Ventadome roof vent model V2110. If your vent originally had a plastic cover chances are this metal one will not fit. I have included a link to the vent covers we carry. If you are not sure of the model number you will need to look at the hinge style on the existing cover and compare it to the hinges pictured on the product pages of the covers.

I have a 2000 Komfort 23' trailer, do you folks carry the metal vent covers?

The Ventline # BV0534-00 is the only metal replacement lid we have available. Does this look like a good fit based on the hinge style and size? I'm not able to track down what specific model was used on your Komfort trailer.
