Question:

Hi, I would like to purchase something from your website and I am having difficulties finding the right thing. I have an RV Winnebago Sightseer 2004 and I would like to tow a Prius behind it and also to have bike racks available. What I see in the comments is that a hitch extender with and bike rack support s the towing capacity in half. Is there a product that does not do that so I dont affect the overall capacity of towing? If so I would be happy to buy it. My RV can tow 5000 lbs Thank you for your help,

Yes, what we recommend for flat-towing with a bike rack on the rear is a dual hitch adapter made by a flat-tow manufacturer, Roadmaster, the Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter for Tow Bars part # RM-077-2. This will provide you with the offset you need to clear both the tow bar and bike rack all while not reducing towing capacity. I also recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock part # e98880 for security, one for the tow bar and one for the adapter.
