Looking for a fifth wheel sliding hitch for a ram 2500 2022 with puck system with the lightest weight or comes in sections? Concerned with the 300 lb weight of the BandW RVK3670 and was wondering if there was another option that was lighter in weight

B&W makes the best 5th wheel hitches in the towing business and they are made right here in America. You are correct though this hitch is heavy it weighs in right at 300 lbs. To help with this weight B&W has a solution it is the B&W 5th Wheel Lifting Device for Companion and Patriot Hitches item # BWRVXA3130. This heavy duty steel tool lets you lift your B&W 5th-wheel hitch from your truck bed with a hoist. The 5th-Wheel jaws clamp around the device for a secure grip. I have attached a picture of this lifting device being used.

For a lighter 5th Wheel Hitch you can't go wrong with the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R20 Slider - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs item # C16541 you were looking at. This hitch requires an adapter to attach to your Ram's puck system so it is detachable which cuts down on the weight. The A20 weighs 230 lbs.
