Question:
How much does this hitch weigh? Is it removable in two pieces, to make that process easier to manage? We are two women who are strong, but still, not with the upper body strength of a typical man.

The shipping weight of the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3305 is 152 lbs so it will be just under that after you remove the packaging.
Although it is still pretty hefty, the head unit part # BWRVC3006 can easily be removed off of the base unit # BWRVB3305 to help make moving the whole hitch more manageable. The head unit itself weighs in at about 70 lbs so it is almost half of the weight of the whole hitch.
If you would like something that is a bit lighter then you can use the Rail Adapter # RP30156 which weighs about 50 lbs and the Demco Recon # DM8550043 which has an overall weight of just under 100 lbs. The head unit, part # DM6169, for the Recon weighs just under 50 lbs so going this route will give you an overall weight that is about the same as the B&W unit but that weight is broken up between 3 pieces instead of just 2.
