Can Smart Plug RV SM27FR be Used with 50 Amp Wiring
Published 02/03/2022 >
Question:
I am going from a 50amp service to 30amp in my 5th Wheel trailer. Will I be able to use my existing 50amp cord with the 30amp plug? Thank you for your help in this matter.

Expert Reply:
If the 50 amp cable you have now has 3 wires and not 4 (check the amount of recipticles/prongs on the front of it) then yes you can use the SmartPlug RV # SM27FR with it.
