Question:
I have an RV with the cord that you shove into the rig and not plug in. the hole is about 5 inches, similar to your Part Number: A10-2130VP I want to remove that and go with the SM27FR Will the hole pattern for the RV side of the power inlet cover the hole left by the A10-2130VP

Hi Monty,
The mounting holes for the round cable hatch # A10-2130VP will not be covered by the SmartPlug RV Power Inlet and Connector - 30 Amp # SM27FR.
I've added a photo below of the mounting dimensions of the # SM27FR and as you can see they are 2.44" apart on center, while the hatch is 3-1/2" round in diameter.

Hey Monty, how did things go with switching from the round cable hatch to the SmartPlug power inlet on your RV? Were you able to get the new inlet to cover the old opening cleanly? Your update could make it easier for others planning the same upgrade.
