Question:
Looking at a demco dominator, used as its a great deal. What else do I need to tow our 2016 jeep wrangler unlimited? It has d-ring on aftermarket front bumper. Trying to not break the bank, but want to be safe and do it right once as well.

The Demco Dominator Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plates, # DM9511008-BX comes with needed safety cables so that is three of the 5 primary items needed to flat tow your 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. To attach this tow bar to D-rings on your aftermarket bumper, you will first need to verify it is a towable bumper as not all are rated for this. You will need to contact the manufacturer for that information and then identify what size D-ring adapters are needed, most options are 3/4", 7/8" or 1".
If you cannot use the D-rings for attachment point then let us know and we can suggest a proper base plate that matches with your current tow bar, something such as the Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit with Removable Arms, # DM9519292. This is dependent on your specific bumper installed.
The fourth item you need is a lighting solution that the indicator lights on your Jeep match that of the motorhome. For this I suggest the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit, # RM-15267. This lets you wire your vehicle to accept your RV's tail, brake, and turn signal lights for flat towing. Along with this you will need the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles, # RM-88400 and the RoadMaster Stop Light Switch Kit, # RM-751452.
The last the primary items needed is the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System, # RM-8700. The InvisiBrake is designed to activate the brakes in your Jeep upon receiving a signal from your RV that the motor home's brakes have been applied. This signal is sent via the wiring harness whenever the RV's brake lights are illuminated providing real-time braking action.
You may or may not need a high/low adapter. I have linked a help article below that explains how to measure your tow bar height to identify if one is needed. I have also linked several product review and installation videos for the items listed above.
