Is a Battery Charger Needed with the Stay-in Play Duo Supplemental Braking System?

I have a 2018 Jeep Wrangler which I just installed the SM99251 as per Jason S recommendation. Will it be necessary to install a battery charger to maintain the Jeeps battery. I also installed the A10-6034VP for 6 pole wiring adapter as per Jason S recommendation, which also gave me a 12V supply wire if needed.

On your 2018 Jeep Wrangler, I am thrilled with the parts you ordered. The Mighty Cord Trailer Connector Adapter - 4-Way Flat to 6-Way Round - 12" Harness # A10-6034VP will give you the 12V charge line from your 7-way on your motorhome to give a maintenance charge to your Jeep battery. Although a charge line isn't required, the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251 does use that vehicle battery, so I do recommend connecting it.
You can simply connect the 12V wire of your 6-way directly to the positive terminal of your battery using a 10 gauge wire like # 10-1-1 which is sold by the foot. This will allow a small amperage charge from your motorhome to your Jeep battery so it doesn't get drained even on a long road trip. The draw of the Stay-In-Play system is so minimal that it isn't required as I stated, but it is a good idea and is extremely easy to add with the parts you have.
