I just got a 2022 Ford F-150 with the 5.5 foot bed and want to get a bed rack and tonno cover installed on it. Are there options for this truck yet? Also looking at the BedRug carpet bed mat, so I want to make sure that will not cause any problems. Thanks.

I will start by saying there will be no issues using the BedRug Custom Full Truck Bed Liner # BRQ15SCK with a ladder rack or tonneau cover, or both, so you are perfectly good to go. So with that out of the way, we can get into ladder rack and tonneau cover options for you. I have a premium option listed below and a more budget friendly, though still very nice, option below that. I will also note that these options, including the BedRug you are already looking at, are all American made.

For the premium set up, you will want to start with the BAK Revolver X4s Tonneau Cover # BAK56ZR. This is a hard cover that will be fully secured when the tailgate is locked, but it also rolls up instead of folding so it will not block your rear window. You can even put up to 400 pounds on the cover, when evenly distributed of course. For the ladder rack, I like the Thule TracRac SR # TH43002XT-508. This can slide around on the included rails so you can really get it into the position that suits your needs best. The 69-1/2" wide crossbars can also carry up to 1,250 pounds, so it is a very nice option.

For the more budget/economical option, I recommend starting with the Access Lorado Tonneau Cover # A41369. This is a soft roll up style cover, so it technically will not be able to have things stored on it, but this does not mean it is a wimpy cover by any means. These are manufactured and tested in North Dakota and I have seen them hold up to over a foot of snow on top of them (see included picture), so they are built to last. The Adarac Aluminum Series Ladder Rack # A66RR will also pair very nicely with this cover. It is rated lower than the Thule rack, but it will still give you up to 500 pounds of carrying capacity. Even though it is less heavy duty and will not be able to slide, I really like that it is black and will match the cover. That's just my opinion though.

Just as a side note, you can mix and match any of the mentioned options as well.
