Which Blue Ox Base Plate Kit Fits 2026 Ford F-150

I want to know if I can use my BX 2681 mounting from my 2020 f150 and go on my new 26 f150 and if not what changed? I see the new part number is a BX 2686. If I have to change how much are just the steel brackets that go on the truck? I have everything else and it looks brand new

Hey Thomas, since you have a 2026 Ford F-150 you will have to go with the new base plate kit part # BLU33FR. While this does look a lot like the kit you have now the mounting holes are located a little differently. Now is there a way to make what you have work on your new truck? Maybe...but that's not something we can really give guidance on as it would void the warranty of the base plate kit and would potentially be pretty dangerous. I know these kits are expensive but I would highly recommend getting the new kit that does fit your truck. If they can carry over a fit from a previous generation they for sure will as it saves them money in the long term.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
